This coat turned out just GORGEOUS!.

It is a Beautiful, one of a kind, quilt coat made from vintage patch work Dresden Plate patch quilt that I rescued on one of my antiquing adventures in Lancaster County PA. Two large deep front pockets double stitched to reinforce the seams. This is a collage of beautiful prints in Lacender purple, yellows, sage green and shades of purple. Finished Shaw collar and hem line along with the large 3”+ sleeve cuffs. Top is a cotton fabric and the inside lining is 100% cotton. All seams are 4 thread surged finished

This coat has an oversized fit to it.
Can fit a SMALL up to a size XL to a 1X. maybe a little larger. Check measurements below.

Measurements taken with coat laying flat:
Pit to pit: 27"
Shoulder to hem length is 28"
Top of the Shoulder to cuff is 28” with 3” cuff so you can make these sleeves longer if needed. (31” total)
Sleeve inseam from Pit to cuff 17" and has a nice large 3" cuff you can roll up to adjust your sleeve length as needed.

Each quilt coat is a one of a kind piece, even those that may come from the same quilt. I often can get two coats from a larger size quilt. While I wash and dry all my quilts, each coat at coats might have their own little "love bumps" and imperfections from time and its previous life.
Please Remember, many of these coats are constructed from Vintage and Antique quilts. These quilts were not made by me, only rescued, and given a second life. I do my very best to repair what I can. Many of my quilts are also newer and some even brand new.

These older vintage pieces should be washed on delicate and hung dry. Newer pieces can be machine washed and dried.
